SSH Model — Topological Phase Transition

The Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) chain: alternating hoppings v (intra-cell) and w (inter-cell). When |w|>|v|, winding number W=1 (topological phase) with protected zero-energy edge states. At |w|=|v| the bulk gap closes — a topological phase transition.
