In a honeycomb ferromagnet, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions open a topological gap in the magnon band structure. Nonzero Berry curvature produces a transverse (Hall) drift of magnon wave packets — the magnon Hall effect, analogous to the quantum Hall effect for electrons.
