The φ⁴ kink is a topological soliton: φ(x,t) = tanh((x−vt)/√2·γ). Two degenerate vacua (±1). The kink interpolates between them — topological charge Q=1 is conserved. Kink-antikink collision may annihilate or bounce depending on velocity (fractal resonance windows).
