SSH Model — Topological Edge States

The Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) model has two hopping amplitudes v (intracell) and w (intercell). When |w| > |v|, the chain is in a topologically non-trivial phase (winding number Z=1) and hosts zero-energy edge states localized at the boundaries.

v (intracell) 0.50
w (intercell) 1.00
