Mirollo-Strogatz Pulse-Coupled Oscillators
N oscillators, each charging toward threshold. When one fires it sends a pulse that advances all others. Mirollo & Strogatz (1990): for any initial phases, the system almost surely achieves global synchrony — a remarkable theorem.
