N pulse-coupled oscillators (fireflies) with phase advance rule: when firefly i fires, all neighbors advance their phase by ε·f(φ). Mirollo & Strogatz (1990) proved that for identical oscillators with concave f, all-to-all coupling always leads to synchrony.
