Abrikosov vortices form a triangular lattice (hexagonal close-packed) in type-II superconductors (κ = λ/ξ > 1/√2). Each vortex carries exactly one flux quantum Φ₀ = h/2e ≈ 2.07×10⁻¹⁵ Wb. The lattice spacing a = (4/3)^(1/4)√(Φ₀/B). Near Bc2, cores overlap and superconductivity is destroyed.
