About: The Edwards-Anderson spin glass model places ±J bonds randomly on a 2D lattice. Competing ferromagnetic (+) and antiferromagnetic (−) interactions create frustration — no spin configuration can satisfy all bonds simultaneously. At low temperature, spins freeze into a disordered glassy state characterized by a nonzero spin-glass order parameter q = [⟨σ⟩²]av. Metropolis Monte Carlo dynamics are used at each step.
