Sznajd Model — Outflow Dynamics

The Sznajd model is a sociophysics model where agreement between neighbors spreads outward. If two adjacent agents agree, they convince their neighbors. This "outflow dynamics" leads to consensus or fragmentation depending on initial conditions and geometry.

Outflow rule (1D):
If s_i = s_{i+1}:
s_{i-1} = s_{i+2} = s_i

Exit probability (proportion converging to +1) shows sharp transition near p₀=0.5.

Magnetization m = (N₊−N₋)/N converges to ±1 or 0.
