Sand Timer
An hourglass simulation with real particle physics. Thousands of tiny sand grains fall through a narrow neck, pile up in the bottom bulb, and drain from the top. Click the hourglass to flip it and watch the sand flow again. The funnel pattern at the neck is emergent — no grain knows about the whole, but the whole shapes each grain's path.
