Rotating Frame — Coriolis Effect

In a rotating reference frame, a freely-moving object appears to curve due to fictitious Coriolis (-2Ω×v) and centrifugal (Ω²r) forces. In Earth's Northern Hemisphere, projectiles deflect rightward; this drives cyclonic rotation in weather systems.
