Decimation RG: integrating out every other spin on the 1D Ising chain yields the recursion K' = ½ ln cosh(2K). The fixed points are K*=0 (disordered) and K*=∞ (ordered). The RG flow and critical exponents emerge from the linearized map around fixed points.
