Frequent measurement of an unstable state suppresses its decay. P(survive|n meas in time T) = [cos²(ΩT/2n)]^n → 1 as n→∞.
Effective decay rate:

Anti-Zeno:
At optimal measurement rate, decay can be enhanced instead — depends on reservoir spectrum.
