Quantum Teleportation Circuit

Teleport an arbitrary qubit state |ψ⟩ = α|0⟩+β|1⟩ from Alice to Bob using a shared Bell pair and two classical bits. No quantum information travels — only classical bits!

Alice's view

|ψ⟩|Φ⁺⟩
Initial: Alice holds qubit 1 (|ψ⟩) and qubit 2 (half of Bell pair)

Bob's view

|Φ⁺⟩
Bob holds qubit 3 (other half of Bell pair)
Classical bits: —

Protocol Steps

|ψ⟩|Φ⁺⟩ = (α|0⟩+β|1⟩)(|00⟩+|11⟩)/√2

Teleportation requires 1 Bell pair (ebit) + 2 classical bits. It cannot transmit information faster than light (classical channel is required). The no-cloning theorem is satisfied — Alice's state is destroyed upon measurement.
