Quantum Annealing — Transverse Ising Model

Quantum annealing uses quantum tunneling to find ground states. A transverse field H_x = Γ(t)·ΣσˣΓ is slowly turned off while the Ising interaction H_z = ΣJᵢⱼσᶻᵢσᶻⱼ is turned on. Compare with simulated annealing.
