Parrondo's Paradox

Two individually losing games combine to produce a winning strategy. Game A is a slightly biased coin. Game B: win if capital mod 3 ≠ 0, lose with high probability if capital mod 3 = 0 — a "ratchet" that Game A resets. Together they win.
