N agents hold opinions in [0,1]. Two randomly chosen agents interact only if |x_i - x_j| < ε (bounded confidence). They converge toward each other with rate μ. Phase transition: below ε ≈ 0.5 the population fragments into clusters; above it all converge to consensus.
