Nonequilibrium Driven Lattice Gas

The Katz-Lebowitz-Spohn (KLS) driven lattice gas subjects an Ising-like lattice gas to an external electric field E, biasing particle hops along one direction. This breaks detailed balance and produces nonequilibrium steady states with anisotropic ordered phases absent in equilibrium.
