The lid-driven cavity is a benchmark for Navier-Stokes solvers: viscous fluid in a square box with the top wall moving at constant velocity. Solved here using a finite-difference vorticity-streamfunction formulation. At low Re a single primary vortex forms; secondary corner vortices appear as Re increases.
