Michelson Interferometer
A beam splitter divides a laser beam into two perpendicular paths. Each beam reflects off a mirror and returns to recombine at the splitter. When the path lengths differ, the waves interfere — constructively or destructively — producing a pattern of bright and dark fringes on the detector screen. Drag the movable mirror or use the slider to shift the fringes in real time.
