Mean-Field Ising Susceptibility

In mean-field theory, the magnetic susceptibility χ = ∂M/∂H diverges as χ ~ |T−Tc|⁻¹ at the critical temperature. The order parameter M obeys a self-consistency equation M = tanh((M+H)/T), producing a second-order transition at Tc=1.
