3D torus knots with tube rendering — drag to rotate
A T(p,q) torus knot wraps p times around the torus longitude and q times around the meridian. The trefoil is T(2,3); the cinquefoil is T(2,5). Jones proved that torus knots are distinguished by their Alexander polynomial. Witten showed the Jones polynomial equals the Chern-Simons path integral.
