Hyperbolic Space — Poincaré Disk

The Poincaré disk is a conformal model of 2D hyperbolic geometry. Geodesics are circular arcs perpendicular to the boundary. The {7,3} tiling fills the disk with heptagons — 7 per vertex — impossible in flat space. Angle sum of triangles is always less than 180°. Click to place points and draw geodesics.

Click two points inside the disk to draw the geodesic between them. The boundary circle is "infinity".
