Poincaré disk: The entire hyperbolic plane fits inside the unit circle. Equal-sized shapes near the boundary are actually much larger in hyperbolic space.

Geodesics: straight lines in H² appear as circular arcs meeting the boundary at right angles.

Area of disk r: 2π(cosh r − 1), grows exponentially vs πr² in Euclidean space.

Angle sum of triangle < 180°; deficit = area×|K|.
