Granular Gas: Inelastic Cooling & Haff's Law

Unlike molecular gases, granular gases dissipate kinetic energy through inelastic collisions. Haff's law predicts the granular temperature decays as T(t) = T₀/(1 + t/t*)², a power law arising from energy loss ∝ T^(3/2).
