Adam-Gibbs Glass Transition
Cooperative rearranging regions — relaxation time diverges as T → T_K
T = 1.00 | log₁₀(τ) = — | z* = —
Adam-Gibbs (1965) theory: τ = τ₀ exp(C / (T · Sconf(T)))
where configurational entropy Sconf(T) = Δcp · ln(T/T_K) vanishes at the Kauzmann temperature T_K.
The CRR (cooperative rearranging region) size z*(T) = z*∞ · Δμ / (T · Sconf) grows as T→T_K.
This gives the Vogel-Fulcher-Tammann (VFT) form τ ~ exp(B/(T−T_0)) where T_0 ≈ T_K.
