The Wright-Fisher model samples N alleles each generation from the current frequency. Drift causes random fluctuations that eventually fix (p=1) or lose (p=0) alleles. Fixation probability with selection ≈ (1−e^{−2s}) / (1−e^{−2Ns}) for p₀=1/N.
