A mechanical clock driven by an epicyclic gear train. Every tooth counts — gear ratios produce the 60:1 reduction from seconds to minutes, and again to hours.
The gear ratios here implement 1:60 (seconds→minutes) and 1:720 (seconds→hours). Each gear pair is drawn with involute-approximated teeth. The number of teeth determines the exact ratio: gear ratio = N_driven / N_driver.
