Fresnel Lens
A Fresnel lens collapses a thick convex lens into a thin flat sheet by breaking the curved surface into concentric sawtooth zones. Each zone bends light by the same amount as the corresponding ring of the full lens, but without the bulk. Adjust zones, diameter, and focal length, then click anywhere on the right side to place a point source and watch where the image forms.
