Spinon-Holon Fractionalization — t-J Model

Slave-boson decomposition: electron = spinon ⊗ holon, pseudogap phase

In the t-J model, the electron is decomposed as c†_σ = f†_σ · b (spinon × holon) in the slave-boson approach. Spinons carry spin (Fermi statistics) and holons carry charge (Bose statistics). At low doping, spinons form a Fermi surface while holons condense only below T_BEC — the separation of T_spinon and T_holon gives the pseudogap phase. True superconductivity requires both spinon pairing AND holon condensation.
