Each branch splits into two at a given angle, scaled by a fixed ratio. Recursion creates self-similar structure. The Pythagoras tree tiles the plane perfectly when angle=45°. Ferns emerge from asymmetric branching (Barnsley fern). Adding randomness mimics real biological growth — nature's trees use stochastic L-systems. The Hausdorff dimension depends on branching ratio and angle.
