Michaelis-Menten Enzyme Kinetics

Vmax, Km, inhibition modes, Hill cooperativity

v = Vmax·[S]n / (Kmn + [S]n)

The Michaelis-Menten equation describes enzyme reaction velocity as a function of substrate concentration. Km is the substrate concentration at half-maximal velocity. Hill coefficient n>1 indicates positive cooperativity. Competitive inhibition raises apparent Km; noncompetitive inhibition lowers Vmax.
