Snowflake Crystal Growth

Cellular automaton snowflake growth on a hexagonal lattice (Reiter model). Vapor diffuses and freezes at ice boundaries. Temperature controls branching: lower T → dendritic branches; higher T → compact plates. 6-fold symmetry is enforced by crystal structure.

Step: 0  |  Ice cells: 0
β (inverse temp) controls attachment probability. γ = vapor density. κ = random noise for symmetry breaking.
