Cross-Diffusion Turing Instability — Chemotaxis

Cross-diffusion (e.g. chemotaxis: cells drift up a chemical gradient) can trigger Turing instability even when standard diffusion would not. Cells u aggregate toward attractant v, which cells consume. Patterns emerge from homogeneous initial conditions.
