Conway's Life (B3/S23): born if 3 neighbors, survive if 2-3. Turing-complete, self-replicating patterns exist. HighLife (B36/S23): adds "6 neighbors birth" — has a replicator pattern. Day & Night (B3678/S34678): symmetric — live and dead cells obey the same rules; large organized structures. Seeds (B2/S): every cell dies next step; explosive, chaotic growth.
