Aging model:
At each step: (1) each edge ages by 1; edges older than lifetime are removed. (2) New edges form by preferential attachment (prob ∝ k^α).

At low lifetimes: random-like network (Erdős-Rényi). At high lifetimes + strong preference: scale-free (BA). Intermediate: rich dynamics including community formation and rewiring cascades.
