Adaptive Network — Deffuant Coevolution with Rewiring

Opinion dynamics where agents can both influence each other and rewire connections

Adaptive voter model: at each step, a random edge (i,j) is selected. If |x_i - x_j| < ε, opinions converge by μ (Deffuant rule). Otherwise, with prob p_rew agent i drops the link and rewires to a random same-opinion neighbor (homophily). Fragmentation occurs when rewiring dominates.
